Antoinette Fainting Sofa in Aubergine
A Fainting Couch wasn’t commonly referred to as such until the 19th century when ladies wore corsets so tightly that it often left them breathless to the point where one of these would be quite useful. Poor things, I can imagine them becoming faint and turning purple like the pale cool purple of this Antoinette Fainting Sofa in Aubergine. I, however, would be wearing my comfy jeans watching “Marie Antoinette” by Sophia Coppola as I lounge on this tufted cotton velvet chaise. Look for some French Revolutionary Inspirations tomorrow lovelies.
