Sweetiepie Restaurant
/0 Comments/in Hospitality/by EvaSweetiepie Restaurant was a delicious little spot in New York where tots and those who are kids at heart could stop in for treats, lunch, or all day breakfast. It is a fun little spot that any parent wouldn’t go begrudgingly when asked to, and the menu makes that quite clear. Kids could order a Roy Rogers and a hambuger while you could dine on a schnitzel with lemon white wine sauce.
Pewter Kitchen with a Surprise
/0 Comments/in Kitchen/by EvaI burn, I pine, I perish! This is by far my most favorite kitchen of all time. It has been my favorite since it’s debut in the Jan/Feb 2006 Kitchen and Bath Ideas Magazine. Kitchen designer Matthew Quinn dreamed up this kitchen for the Atlanta Symphony Associates Decorators’ Show House. See the range hood? That is made of scagolia stone, which happens to match the fireplace in the adjacent family room.
Feather Fixtures
/0 Comments/in Lighting/by EvaThis lamp reminds me an awful lot of an elegant cloche feather hat worn on a Miss Marple Series. This white rooster feather lamp fixture is equal parts drama and tact; much like an episode of Miss Marple itself!
Kitchen Seating
/0 Comments/in Kitchen/by EvaKitchens are the core of the home, and so it only deems appropriate that you linger there comfortably. Whether it be with family, a friend, or even if it is just yourself with an afternoon tea; a proper place to sit and enjoy only makes sense. This gorgeous white painted kitchen is accented nicely with a harvest wooden table and pale green upholstered Louis XV chairs. What a lovely contrasting compliment and surprising choice from the standard built in island and stools. This kitchen was designed by Suzanne Kasler.
Deco layers Cushion

A Home Built on a Slope
/0 Comments/in Architecture/by EvaElusive scenery and interesting architecture are the advantages to building a house on a sloped property. Take this tiered home by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris in Spain for example. A stepped house design allows each level a grand view of the sea.
Croc Embossed Leather Chair
/0 Comments/in Seating/by EvaThis “croc” embossed leather chair by Nyla Simone is a custom chair that would be perfectly suitable for your hall desk space, foyer or dining chair! Nickel nailheads contrast very nicely with the deep espresso tones of the leather and stained wood legs and arms. This chair has such a great presence!
Pretty Pink Settee and Ottoman
/0 Comments/in Seating/by EvaAnd now for some color! How seriously cute is this settee? While I am not usually a fan of the shabby chic look, a sweet furniture piece such as this could work in a variety of settings; like in a reading nook of a little girl’s room, or in a garden room where you might have your tea. The pink floral material on the cushions is sweet with a thick verdant green fringe. The painted and antiqued white settee has white canning on the back.
St. Germane Steel Bed
/0 Comments/in Bedroom/by EvaThe steel rods that compose the St. Germane bed frame are much like thick threads of incense swirling around the air. Wafts of the bent metal create a dreamy bed anyone could snuggle up to. Tripoli Designs builds each furniture piece as a custom order.
