Cinderella Table

Sotheby’s is Cinderella Table by Dutch Design House Demakersvan is a genius masterpiece. The table is carved out of a solid piece of Carrara Marble.

When you see the front, you will notice the shape is acquired through morphing the silhouettes of an 18th century console juxtaposed with a bombe styled commode. Using modern technology, they were able to carve the unforgiving marble to this smooth curvilinear table.

The Cinderella Table is available through Sotheby’s Sudeley Castle Selling Exhibition from May 28 until August 1 2010.
