Pretty Spring Damask Prints

This handsome jacquard weave cut velvet fabric is based on a fragment found in the Windsor Castle. While I am all for authenticity of the Augusta pattern in Greville Wedgwood, I am also all about this fantastic color choice. The sad pale blue couldn’t be prettier against the light grey-sage background. Like a rainy Spring morning; so very fresh!

 

The Arundale Girardon Wallpaper is a large scale damask pattern wallpaper (this is the Magenta), does it not remind you of huge blossoms of pink peonies? The color is flirty and fun, perfect for an ensuite bath, or parlour. It is sultry and sweet, just the inspiration I need for Spring!
