A Gem of a Dining Room
The unexpected colors in this dining room make it just delicious! The lined silk draperies in coral and a shimmering pale blue-green add a luxurious sheen against the pale walls, but the most gorgeous item in this room however is the Biarritz Chandelier by Niermann Weeks. Like a jeweled flower, the petals delicately furl down, dipped in Mecca Silver finish and droplets of crystals toward the dining room table.
This dining room was created by Jeffrey and Deborah Fisher of Jeffrey Fisher Home for a jewelry designer in Toronto, so how befitting is this lovely light fixture?!-Very. This home is featured in Style at Home’s April 2008 issue, and it is lovely how bits of these colors are tied throughout the home in different ways, (I just love the beveled mirror-tiled walls in the powder room. *Note to self; I must do that somewhere!!!) but each resulting in a delightful result, like a creative and beautiful jewel design itself.
