Maax Collections has unveiled their new shower door systems, this one; the PurfectKurv dual door shower doors caught my eye. Not only because of the fantastic frameless look, but I am loving the beveled tile surround they are using in the marketing images!

The simple shape of the beveled square tiles are brought to life on a diagonal pattern, and the thick bevel contours on all sides make the finished look much like a tailored quilted leather application. The black only adds to the drama. This is a great lesson in wall tiles; when selecting tiles for a backsplash or wall, you can make a simple field tile seem much more visually appealing how the tiles are installed, simply turning them to a 45 degree angle. It can make a big difference, as in this case. |

The Black Lead Floral Tudor Wallpaper by Woodson & Rummerfield's is sumptuous and larger than life in this bold botanic graphic. It engulfs and cocoons this romantic bedroom in such a lovely way. The look could have been too deep and heavy if not smartly paired with crisp white sheets and lamps with playful and thin, gold-trimmed bases.

Isn't it such a classic? Picture it in your boudoir or powder room. |

Check out this little number from the late Alexander McQueen's 2010 Resort collection! The haunting and intricate black webbing overlay on the buttery yellow dress is divine. The emphasis on symmetry is very flattering on a petite physique. Do you recognize it? It is also the same dress worn by Drew Barrymore for the Toronto premiere of Whip-It. So if you are like Drew, and have a daring sense of personal style, how do you dress your home?

This gorgeous wallpaper by Albert Van Luit & Company is large and bold, perfect for the femme with dramatic flair and a colorful personality. Pair it up with a black chandelier.
